Bradley Plummer, AIC Supply Support Manager at Babcock Australasia

“I joined the Royal Australian Navy in 1984 and following 26 years’ service, I resigned in 2010 for personal reasons.

In 2016 whilst undertaking reserve service at the ANZAC System Program Office, I was exposed to the establishment of the Warship Asset Management Agreement and realised that there were several opportunities to work with one of the industry participants.  I applied for and accepted a role with Naval Ship Management (now Babcock) in September 2016.

I’ve had the good fortune to develop an understanding of various disciplines outside my expertise, in Supply, these include Asset Management, Integrated Logistic Support, Finance, and Contract Management. I have thoroughly enjoyed my tenure with the defence industry. Working in a complex environment has taught me many different skills, but developing relationships with some great people has been and will always be the most rewarding experience.”
